PHSRA Senior Scholarship Information
The PHSRA (Pennsylvania High School Rodeo Association) would like to thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to the PHSRA. We would like to help you in your future endeavors by offering 5 scholarships to our high school senior members that will be pursuing post-secondary education after graduating from high school (trade school, junior college, college). Senior members interested in these scholarships will need to provide an application packet of information and all the received applicants will then have a brief in person interview with our PHSRA scholarships committee during our PHSRA rodeo finals in May. During the interview, the applicant is expected to wear appropriate clean western attire. The scholarship committee with our PHSRA board approval will then decide which applicants will receive the scholarships as announced at our PHSRA end of the year banquet.
The 5 PHSRA scholarships offered are valued at $ 1000 dollars each. The Senior member awarded a scholarship will then have 2 years after graduating high school to begin their post-secondary education and once the first semester transcript is forwarded to the PHSRA then the student will receive the scholarship money. The transcript is verification to the PHSRA that the post-secondary education has begun. The Senior member application scholarship packet will need to include the following information.
1.Copy of High School Transcript
